About The Event
RaJazz consists of:
- Rogers Brown, founder and keyboardist
- Stephanie Sanders, saxophonist
- Shanna Gaines, Billy Springs, Chris Whitaker, Ahisa Henry, vocalists
- Lonnie Dixon, guitarist
- Tracy Spence, bass guitarist
- Chris Jernigan, drummer.
The band has performed at the Umoja Festival and the Seawall festival in 2016, the Norfolk Town Point Jazz Festival in 2015, the Hampton Jazz Festival in 2012 and the American Music Festival 2011. They've opened for NaJee at the Sandler Center in 2010 and for Boyz II Men at the American Music festival in 2009.
